Stage 1: Activate Data Protect And Schedule Automatic Backup

  • Log in to your company file in QuickBooks using the correct login credentials.
  • Now go to File then go to Back Up Company and now go to Set-Up/Activate Online Backup.

  • Then you have to select Intuit Data Protect from the Backup Status.
  • Then from the right bottom corner of your taskbar, right-click on the Intuit Data Protect icon and then Open Intuit Data Protect
  • Press on Activate Now from the Intuit Data Protect window.
  • And then you will be asked for some detail to verify important detail to process further, and click on the Continue.
  • Select the QuickBooks file for which you are willing to create a backup and click on If you’ve opted for a full PC plan. After that you can select the other folder also for that you need to create a backup and then press Continue.

  • Then keep on clicking on Continue until the Notification Email Settings will get visible to your screen.
  • Now you can choose the way to get notified via email when:
    • The backup fails.
    • The backup is successful.

Back-Up Files

Download Backed Up Files

  • Select the file that you want to download and press Continue.

  • Select a location where you are willing to restore the backup and then click ok.
  • Then a dialog box of Resote Completed will appear on your system’s screen then click on OK.
